Cherry Blossom Festival

You may recognize the photo at the top of my blog. This was taken during the 2010 Cherry Blossom Festival while I was still in utero. Well, on a cold windy morning, mom thought it would be another great idea to be the first down along the tidal basin to get some photos. By the time we got down there, there were 20,000 runners doing the 10 mile Cherry Blossom Festival Run. I ended up falling asleep for 75% of the walk and then woke up towards the end and man did I work up an appetite. Unfortunately, there were still about 18,734 runners who did not cross the finish line, which now stood between me the hungry baby, and our car, my ticket to the front of the chow line.
